Kyle Martino, 30, is former soccer star and a current analyst for Fox Soccer.
Martino enjoyed a fruitful career in professional soccer. Playing for the University of
Virginia and later drafted out of college in to Major League Soccer, Martino earned
Rookie of The Year honors in his first year with the Columbus Crew. In his second
season with The Crew he became an MLS All-Star, which led to his inclusion in the U.S.
Men’s National Team. He enjoyed four seasons with the Columbus Crew, and three
seasons with the Los Angeles Galaxy, before sustaining career-ending injuries.
Martino worked briefly on Wall Street before starting his television career with ESPN,
covering the 2010 World Cup. His work with ESPN attracted the attention of Fox
Network, who offered him his own studio show in 2011. With Soccer Talk Live, Martino
hosted an array of sports and entertainment stars, leading to his interest in entertainment
Martino currently resides in Santa Monica, traveling domestically to cover games for
MLS as well as hosting studio shows for Fox Soccer.
